Role Summary

Next Reason’s project team is responsible for translating business requirements into solutions which will help our customers meet their goals. The Program Manager is accountable for the planning, design, and operational delivery and transition of all projects under the roadmap. The ideal candidate must display excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. The candidate should also be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics and be able to support and manage the project team to ensure business objectives are met.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Exemplify deep subject matter expertise in Next Reason’s product. Demonstrate solid expertise in other areas of specialty. Stay abreast of product changes.

  • Manage and support the Project team throughout all project management phases (design to delivery). This includes leading and evaluating the project team and other staff.

  • Provide overall direction and ownership to projects. This may include but not limited to managing escalations and issues, development of risk mitigation plans, setting and monitoring of controls for deadlines and budgets.

  • Manage and deliver medium to large-sized projects. It is expected that the Program Manager will be responsible for managing the end to end process of the project lifecycle on assigned projects.

  • Build relationships with internal and external partners to deliver products and enhancements that drive customer satisfaction and meet business goals.

  • Develops and presents weekly and monthly status reports consolidating cross-functional updates. Communicates project status, issues, highlights, and lowlights.

  • Establishes formal cadence, timelines of reporting and measurement to ensure metrics are available on a timely basis. Holds teams accountable.

  • Facilitate program retrospectives and identify and create action plans for improvement opportunities.

  • Follow security best practices: Develop strong security and compliance best practices, and ensure the team adheres to Next Reason’s information security management system—including monitoring and reporting security incidents as needed

  • Focus on quality: Maintain high standards of quality when it comes to written and verbal communications by establishing good practices and habits, empathizing with our customers, and respecting your colleagues

  • Track time: All members of the team are required to track time and reach utilization targets appropriate for their role

  • Prioritize effectively: Prioritize and execute tasks in a methodical and disciplined manner, as well as internally provide leadership (technical and project) to teammates through coaching and mentorship

  • Deliver other support duties as assigned: Perform ad hoc tasks as needed

Job requirements


  • Bachelor's/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

  • 5+ years of experience and knowledge as a Project Manager

  • Minimum 3+ years of program management with enterprise solutions in SaaS environments

  • Experience in handling a remote team of 5 or more that is distributed across the globe

  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills while managing diverse and complex issues

  • Proven ability to drive escalated customer problems to resolution utilizing appropriate internal and external resources

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision

  • Highly organized; detail oriented, and you have ability to shift easily between a variety of tasks with ease

  • Excellent business analysis skills and written communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings and translate requirements into defined business solutions

  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills

  • Skill in managing multiple priorities, prioritize tasks and work independently

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, team collaboration skills, including active listening and excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly proficient in written and spoken English


  • Certifications in Agile Scrum and/or Lean Six Sigma are an advantage

  • Experience with OpenID Connect (OIDC) authentication framework

  • Organized, self-driven, and naturally curious

  • Knowledgeable on API framework
